In the early November, our team was having a special day in Fayoum.

The “Beautiful Oasis” welcomed us as visitors to learn about its activities, see it, and experience what they do with children for their development.

We visited the following classes:

A journey with pencil:

We visited KG0 class of only three years old kids. Children work differently from traditional methods of learning the basics of holding the pen and writing. The child experiences the movement of the pen once with his entire body through play and then experiences it by moving his hand in the air, then by solving exercises as if each one of them is presenting a special message that God called it for. We were impressed with the children’s order and their awareness of their limits at this early age. We were also happy to see them use words like “please” and “thank you”.

Mido in the world of letters:

Reading is a complicated process for children, so the Mido in the world of letters program simplifies and develops the way we introduce the lesson. The lesson offers many fun activities such as singing, games and drama so that the child experiences new letters and words, and then the children begin to solve some fun exercises in their book. One of the most distinguished things in this class was the enthusiasm in the voices of the children as they participated with the teacher in the lesson, whether through singing and clapping with her, or by repeating words and letters with her and responding to her. We also noticed that the children did not fear that they would respond with a wrong answer, as the teacher was very loving with them and guided them to the correct answer without using negative words.

Special needs class:

Children with special needs have endless potentials. Montessori classes help them develop their skills and abilities and take advantage of all their potentials, as the activities here suit all levels. We were astonished to see the children working with impressive focus and precision.

Montessori class:

Children spend their time in very organized Montessori classrooms. The classroom is completely different from any class we have seen in other nurseries, you won’t feel that you are sitting with children from how much you can sense order and calmness in which they live, you can only hear the sound of materials! Every child is busy with what he does as if he has a job that he would love to do with concentration and perfection.
